Agwan Sarki Orozo, Nasarawa State – A chilling incident has left the community of Agwan Sarki Orozo, near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in shock as a middle-aged man, identified as a suspected ‘Yahoo boy’ (Internet fraudster), was apprehended with the severed head of his girlfriend in a polythene bag.
The suspect was reportedly arrested in an uncompleted building following an intelligence tip-off to local security agents. Upon interrogation, the suspect allegedly confessed to the gruesome act and disclosed that the rest of the victim’s body was at his residence.
The horrifying incident was confirmed by Comrade Abwami Nuhuson Daniel, the Secretary of Orozo Community, who shared his account on Facebook. He wrote, “I got the shock of my life as we apprehend a ‘Yahoo’ ritual with human head (his girlfriend) inside a nylon in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, FCT. I thought I just used to watch things like this until I experienced one ‘live’ today in my community. And this guy said the remaining body of the girl is still in his house. God have mercy on this generation.”
The revelation has sparked fear and outrage in the community, with many questioning the moral decline and desperation fueling such horrific acts.
Efforts to reach the Nasarawa State Police Command for an official statement were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
This disturbing case adds to the growing concerns over ritual-related killings often linked to individuals engaging in internet fraud. Community leaders have called for increased vigilance and collaboration with security agencies to curb such crimes.
