Cross River Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs Reacts to Purported Suspension

-says alleged suspension is null and void.

Cross River Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr Helen Isamoh has reacted to her purported suspension by the All Progressives Congress, APC, Umon North Ward.

Her alleged suspension was recently announced by the highly compromised Anti Party APC Chairman of Umon North Ward, Biase LGA on frivolous unsubstantiated claims of gross misconduct.

Speaking on the development, she maintained that the party officials who allegedly instigated and carried out the purported suspension on her lacked the moral right to do so, describing the action as null and void.

According to her, “Those who are giving me suspension as they put it do not have that right. As far as I am concerned, it is null and void. The reason being that I never received any letter of gross misconduct or suspension from my local ward. I have a case of attempted conspiracy to kidnap and murder me against the perpetrators of the purported suspension with the Nigeria police and the matter is in court. That’s why they are trying hard to distract the attention of the investigation and the public”.

“I saw it only on the news that they suspended a woman who the whole world can attest to the fact that she remains resolute in the fight for the APC and has contributed heavily to the growth and development of the party”.

The Commissioner said it is a case of conspiracy to kidnap and murder her which she instituted against a PRP PARTY man(Who contested the last House of Representatives election of Akampa/Biase Federal Constituency) Known as EffiT. the police commenced investigation and matter charged to court that is the bone of contention. The issue of illegal suspension is diversionary and a gross distraction.

“One Emmanuel Effiong, the owner of Effit Hotel lured and recruit teenage boys and use them to murder citizens of Nigeria. One of them called to inform the Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs on plots to assassinate her, That their Boss was paid the sum of N10m to execute that. I immediately alerted the police who swung into action and all the culprits were arrested including the Effit whose gang of criminals and kidnappers are protesting for his bail/release.

“Upon the arrest of Nnana Ime, 17years old, before the Commissioner of Police, Endurance confessed that his Boss, the owner of Effit Guest House located at 8 miles, Calabar lured him into that. That everything he said to the Commissioner was coached by his master, the EffiT.”

Dr Helen said names of persons arrested in connection with the attempted murder who are now in custody include: Endurance Nnana Ime, Evelyn Aniekan Umoh -( Effit sister In-law Her phone was used in calling her, including text messages, Chinedu Francis, Ekemini Ekanem, Abraham Itongo and Effiong Emmanuel (Effit).

Investigations has revealed that the EffiT man begged the 17 years old in police custody to protect him from being exposed and indicted, and when he succeeds in salvaging himself out of the murder case, he will gift him his new Hotel in Biase.

The Commissioner asked why should any normal human being play politics with a human life, more especially, the life of a productive and proactive Commissioner? Why should an attempted murder case be affiliated to a party squabble.

“Having bribed everywhere to no avail to release their Agent, EffiT, they have resorted to infantile threats and empty suspension. No one can hide under the guise of any party to perpetuate evil against fellow human. These set of people need be expelled from the party. They are terrible humans indeed”.

“The issue of my audio suspension is highly laughable because truth is sacrosanct on the conspiracy to kidnap and murder me. Why the desperation to sponsor my suspension in a matter in court that revolves around Murder? The life of the Commissioner is too big for anyone to play politics with. Truth can’t be covered up with lies and propaganda “.

The matter was seriously investigated by the police and suspects would soon face the full wrath of the law in court .
