Hon Godwin Igelle has lauded the Governor of the State, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, for the infrastructural developmental projects he is carrying out in the State.
Igelle who said the people are highly impressed with the developmental strides of the Governor across the State, particularly the recent flag -off of road construction in Cross River North, the political nerve centre of the state commended His Excellency for the giant strides.
Speaking during a meeting with Yala Stakeholders in Calabar, Igelle, a former Councilor representing Ijiraga Ward in Yala LGA, who described Otu as a World Class Governor, conveyed the appreciation of the people of Yala sons and daughters to the Governor for embarking on the road projects.
“I congratulate Governor Bassey Otu, on the flag-off of the construction, rehabilitation of 17km Ndok- Abakpa , Igoli to Moniaya Junction and Ogoja network of roads, Also, Akreha-Yache- Benue Road Project (Phase 1) at Yache, Yala LGA, and the 5km Yahe-Ebo -Wanakom- Wanikade -Wanihem road construction for the people of Ukelle”.
“I am confident that this administration is focused on solving the infrastructure problems and deficits of the people of Cross River State in line with the Peoples First Mantra of his administration”.
“Your Excellency Sir, your administration has shown total commitment to the infrastructural development of the state and we are proud of your achievements so far. Your government is determined to restore the glory and strategic position of Cross River in the South South. In virtually every aspect of governance, your administration has done well”, he reiterated.
Hon Igelle further called for a strong commendation and support for the Governor for the attention he has, so far with the flag-off of these projects, adding that the people of Yala are solidly behind the Cross River State government led by Otu.
