The Department of State Services, DSS, has raided the palace of Kano’s Emir, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, as speculations of his imminent deposition spread.
This comes at a time when the Kano State Assembly approved the Kano State Emirates Council Amendment Law (repeal bill), 2024.
Journalists who visited the palace at 11 a.m. noticed few DSS operatives stationed there.
