The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) maintain tight security at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi state, is not present in court for his arraignment on a 19-count charge of allegedly laundering N84 billion in money.
Bello was listed as absent when the case started before Federal High Court, Abuja Judge Emeka Nwite.
On April 18, Justice Nwite postponed her decision about the substituted service of the charge against the former governor, who the EFCC claims is avoiding serve.
