Naira Abuse: Cubana Chief Priest Pleads Not Guilty, Granted N10m Bail

Businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, was granted bail by Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday.

Okechukwu is accused of misusing Naira. After he entered a not guilty plea to three counts of allegedly spraying and tampering with Naira notes during a social gathering in violation of the Central Bank Act of 2007, which was brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Justice Ogundare granted him bail.

The magistrate mandated that he present two sureties in equal amount.
