In a remarkable show of solidarity, the traditional rulers of Yala, expressed unwavering commitment to the success of the Hadiza Musa Ujah Offoboche Foundation during its inaugural ceremony held on Saturday, 13th of April 2024.
Addressing a gathering of dignitaries, community members, and supporters, the traditional rulers of Yala through the host King, Ogamode Eje Ipuole, during his traditional prayer for the success of the foundation, lauded the noble objectives of the foundation, aimed at empowering women and children through education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
“I am proud to stand with the Hadiza Musa Ujah Offoboche Foundation in their noble mission to uplift the most vulnerable members of our society,” the monarch declared. “Yala Kingdom fully supports this initiative and pledges to contribute resources and expertise to ensure its success.”
The foundation, named after the the founder, a philanthropist and advocate for women’s rights, aims to imortalize her legacy by providing educational scholarships, healthcare services, and entrepreneurial training to marginalized communities, particularly women and children.
Hadiza Musa Ujah Offoboche, the driving force behind the foundation, expressed gratitude for the traditional ruler’s support, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration in achieving meaningful impact. “With the backing of our esteemed traditional ruler and the collective effort of our community, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those in need,” she remarked.
