Earlier today (25th February) The Onah Edrah Foundation hosted the first edition of Thomas Okujor Edrah (Tom Hamza memorial match)
The football match was part of many other activities hosted to mark the one year remembrance of Comrade Thomas Okujor Edrah, mostly known and called Hamza.
Hamza was a loud freedom fighter and a lover of football, just to mention, he was an Arsenal fan. The community of Okpoma and indeed Yala shall never forget your memories, they shall continue to celebrate your bravery and steadfastness in your fight for freedom equity and justice
The Football Tournament formed a great part of the occasion as a prominent Okpoma politician who is also the Cross River State Youth Leader of the People’s Democratic party, Comrade Brown Odey captained a football match which we are yet to be sure of the result.
