A native of Okuku Ipuole village, Okuk goodu ward, Yala 1 State Constituency of Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, Hon Oko Sunday Ebeku is of the family of Late Mr. and Mrs Ebeku Oko of Aigene, Okuku Ipuole.
EDUCATION
He had his Primary Education at St. Joseph’s Primary School, Okuku-Yala in Yala Local Government Area. Upon completion, he started his secondary education at the famous Mary Knoll College, Okuku Yala before proceeding to write his WAEC at Christ the Kings College, Adikpo, Benue State when he relocated to play football for the famous Kwande United Football Club of Adikpo in Benue State.Hon Oko holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Public Administration from the University of Calabar, Calabar, Cross River State.He is currently undergoing a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration at the University of Calabar, Calabar.Hon Otolo as fondly called has attended several seminars, workshops, and symposiums in Human Resource development and capacity building.

Hon Oko Sunday Ebeku is a grassroots politician with overwhelming support in community mobilization and sensitization for growth and development.His formidable networks and resourcefulness has always made very impressive impact in any given position he has held. His extensive networks from the hills of Obanliku to Bakassi adds to the fact that he is among political figures in the state with cross-party links. Hon Sunday Ebeku is politically astute, moderate, accommodating in his views and easy going. Affable and approachable, he drew his strength from his connect with the common man.
