Hon. Brian Offers Support For Victims OF Fire

Hon. Brian Odey, representing Yala 1 State Constituency has offered his support and sympathies to the victims of a recent fire incident in Okuku-Yala. The fire destroyed a building housing Sixteen families along Glado  International Schools, Street, causing extensive damage and leaving many people without shelter, their businesses and livelihoods.

Hon. Odey who visited the site of the fire alongside supporters and some other party stalwarts spoke with some of the affected individuals. He expressed his deepest concern for the victims and offered them cash assistance  to help them recover from the tragedy. 

He stated that the incident was a huge loss for the community and that everyone must work together to support those affected. 

In addition, Hon. Brian called for increased safety measures to prevent future incidents of this nature. He also called on the government to provide adequate Humanitarian support through the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs for the victims to help them rebuild their lives.

Hon. Brian’s visit and remarks demonstrate his concern for the people of Yala 1 State Constituency and his dedication to their well-being. His commitment to helping the victims of the fire reflects his compassion and sense of social responsibility. Through his actions, he has shown that he is a leader who cares deeply about his community and is willing to go above and beyond to help those in need.
