The Pope And The Burden Of Questions

Well, in respect of the misinterpretation of Pope Francis’ blessing by Catholic Priest to gay couple, if you like, take it the way you want it, the Western press first broke the news the way it could attract attention from readers. Pope Francis didn’t say gay couple would be permitted to get wedded in the church. In case you are not aware, he had earlier talked about marriage as a union between a man and a woman, try find out from Catholic publications from the Holy Sea.

What you must note, if you are interested is this: the Pope said that if a gay couple desires blessings from a priest, they shouldn’t be denied blessing as a way of tolerance for all. However, the way you conceive this information won’t change the Pope to what he is not, the Catholic Church, with the strongest of terms, would not, and shall never get gay couple wedded in the church.

Pope Francis said……..in simplest terms.

When asked if there was future for Same-séx Marriages in the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, first of all, explained the meaning of marriage and how the Church sees it…the family of a man and a woman.

So it follows that any union that doesn’t have a NATURAL & BIOLOGICAL MAN & WOMAN as its existing partners, is not and cannot be regarded as marriage in the eyes of the Church.

But he said that in compliance with the Pastoral charity and Church’s mission of mercy, Gày Couples should not be denied blessings from Priests, as long as they are blessings that would not manifest their union as Marriages.

So what he is talking about is that, if a number of gày people walk up to a Priest and ask for his prayers and blessings, that the Priest should not deny them such prayers and blessings as long as it has nothing to do with blessing their union as a marriage.

Dear friends, don’t allow your faith to crumble cos of this misleading interpretations
